Shriners Hospitals for Children Canada Achieves a National First in Pediatric Motion Analysis

Home to Canada's only Motion Analysis Centre accredited by the Commission for Motion Laboratory Accreditation (CMLA)

MONTREAL, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Shriners Hospitals for Children Canada (SHCC) today announces that its Motion Analysis Centre (MAC) has been accredited by the Commission for Motion Laboratory Accreditation (CMLA), making it the first and only accredited motion analysis laboratory in Canada. The internationally recognized accreditation acknowledges excellence in clinical motion analysis.

The accreditation demonstrates the hospital's commitment to providing children and families with exceptional pediatric care. Motion analysis is a highly precise assessment that helps clinicians better understand how a child moves and develop personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, function and quality of life.
